Anatomage
Anatomage is a cutting edge 3D imaging technology for the medical field. I was brought on as a 3D modeler and was quickly promoted to Production Manager. That was not the only hat I wore there. I created and managed their online identity through social medias and opened a new door for 'tech savvy' clients. This continues to be a steady stream of revenue for them. I was also able to provide Project Management on the company's virtual surgery tables.
COG1
COG1 is a web advertising firm that was focusing on advergaming and flash experiences. I was contracted out to work on various projects. My biggest contribution was for Samurai Kittens, an advergame promoting an anime remake of the famous 'Seven Samurai' by Akira Kurosawa. I worked with the producer on both game design and art to deliver a polished project in a short time. Our goal was to create an engaging experience and we nailed it.
Samurai Kittens is the company's only product to receive 3 awards, including the One Show Merit Award.

Electronic Arts
When Konami's Redwood Shores office closed, I moved a couple blocks down to Electronic Arts as a QA tester. I was there only a short time but made an impact on the project lead and producers. I managed a small team of testers in various test sweeps, created documents for the producer detailing the current build information, and ramped up new testers in 2 weeks.
When I graduated college, I was asked to come go back to EA. I assisted QA leadership in managing multiple AAA titles and two expansions, for both NTSC and PAL release, with a team of up to 35 testers (in-house, online, and outsourced VMC testers).

My humble beginnings in the game industry. QA was in charge of more than just testing. Our team of about 30 max tested and managed a ridiculous amount of projects in the short time I was there. I eventually worked my way to QA LEAD where I managed 2 large projects. On top of this, I have tested over 18 published titles working on quality assurance, rewrites, localization, and standards compliance.

I wore different hats during my work with this group. I was primarily the art director, guiding most of the projects artistic visions. Other responsibilities include game designer and producer. Each of these jobs have had their ups and downs but were very crucial and valuable experiences about life in a production team atmosphere. Games were created with GameMaker 7.

Team Time Ninja - Game Collaboration
A team that formed to create a casual game in 3 months. The end result was Time Marauders, a 2D fighter with a pinball twist. Our team of 8 took the game from concept to finish. Past being a major influence on the theme of the game; I was apart of design, art, sound, and production.
On the design side we created documents detailing the major mechanics and hooks of the game, menu flow charts, UI design, asset lists for the programmers, artists, and audio. As an artist, I worked with three other artists to flesh out the concepts of the game. For audio, me and two others were in charge of creating sounds and recording voices. I was primarily in charge of quality control for the sound assets by preparing them for implementation and making sure the file size did not cross a certain threshold. I assisted the producer in managing the schedule for milestones while meeting with the various teams for buy in, created excel documents that tracked all assets being implemented into the game by each character, level, and menu item. This document also doubled as a way to track the various teams and what they would be working on throughout the project.
